As I walk around the city I call home there are always things to inspire. The play of colors on these leaves provided a jumping off point for another foliage design.
As per my usual inclination I chose to push the colors just a little

This was not one of my usual watercolor paintings on cold press rough paper. This particular design was done digitally and run through photoshop. I find this method useful for some of my textile work.
